The Ladies of the church meet on Wednesdays to worship, learn and discuss from the Bible, for intercession and prayer, counselling and mutual encouragement and fellowship. The service is held in English with translation into Punjabi, Urdu or Hindi. Many are blessed and empowered by this ministry of our sisters in Christ.
The women of the SCOG play a very important role in the growth and expansion of the ministries. They meet to help and support families who are faced with personal and domestic issues and offer prayer and moral support for the stability and unity in building up healthy homes
The Southall Church of God is committed to advancing God’s kingdom through ministries that equip women to grow, serve, and reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through leadership training, retreats, and global opportunities, the SCOG connects women in transformational relationships and unites them in Christ to impact our world.
Since the beginning of the Church of God , women have been a vital part.
Women’s Discipleship is confronting the issues that women are facing today by providing the Power resources, training, and study opportunities that will focus on character and integrity in life choices, values and unique spiritual gifts through discipleship awareness. Our goal is to develop an army of powerful, more-than-conquering confident women.
OUR PURPOSE IS TO EMPOWER WOMEN
To know Christ
To know who they are in Christ
To be God’s hands in the world
To act by giving their talents, money and time
To be the salt of the earth, the light of the world
To form small groups, uniting and sharing with women of like passions and interests
To strengthen their families and
To realize they are valued in God’s kingdom
To grow as leaders and mentors who disciple others
SCRIPTURE Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19 NIV). But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. (2 Corinthians 2:14,15 NASB).
